Walk Against Hunger raises over $90,000 for Connecticut Food Bank
May 5, 2018 | Steven Rivkin
We were fortunate to participate in the Walk Against Hunger at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven. The event raised funds for the Connecticut Food Bank who delivers meals to those in need and in times of crisis. Many hundreds of walkers came out and together we raised over $90,000  to help Connecticut Food Bank in its mission.

This translates to 180,000 meals to locals in need. Our friend, Nina Carmelli, organized the highest individual team with contributions of $1,670. Thanks Nina and Go New Haven!

Subway and the Fred DeLuca Foundation co-sponsored and provide walkers with a tasty lunch. Thanks to all who participated in this worthy event. Your difference is noted :)
